For international applicants residing abroad, special admissions for applicants residing abroad are available. Those admissions are conducted on schedules different from those of the general admission. Selections are, in most cases, made by documentary screening and online interviews, a procedure that enables international applicants to gain admission without coming to Japan. Depending on the department, the entrance examinations differ as to the schedule, selection method, and application documents. Application for NII Scholarship and SOKENDAI Research Assistant (Optional)
If you wish to apply for NII Scholarship and SOKENDAI Research Assistant, submit the following documents by July 13, 2018.
– Application Form for NII Scholarship and SOKENDAI Research Assistant (Attached)
– A recommendation letter from the Dean at his/her home institution (Free Form)
* The letter must be addressed to: Director General of National Institute of Informatics
* Above documents must be included to the application documents and submitted to International Affairs Section of SOKENDAI
